5) Duty, Custom clearance:

  1. The buyer is responsible for import duties (taxes), import regulations, and customs clearance in the receiving country. 
  2. (We can share duty information we have found online for different countries; please contact us.)
  3. Import duties are usually collected by the delivery freight (shipping) company or postal office. Please do not confuse these with additional shipping charges. We do not mark items as "gifts" for your purchases.

 

6) Return:

For Buyer's reason: 

  1. We accept returns for products valued at less than JPY 20,000 if they are unopened, unused, and undamaged, including the original packaging.
  2. We do not accept returns for food, beverages, or certain other products.
  3. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns for buyer's reason.

For Defective products: 

  1. Please provide wide-view pictures and close-ups of the damage, including the outside packaging. Please inform us within 7 days of arrival.
  2. We will process the refund after receiving the returned product.
  3. We take utmost care to avoid defects.

 

7) Legal Age:

  1. The buyer must be 20 years of age or older to meet the legal age requirements in their country to purchase liquor, knives (including cooking knives), and certain other products.

 

8) Shipping:

  1. Dispatch usually takes around 10 working days.
  2. In some areas, a surcharge may apply to the buyer for "Out of Delivery Area" or "Remote Area" locations.
  3. We use recycled materials for packing whenever possible.
  4. Unless otherwise specified, we will declare the product(s) as being for personal use on customs clearance documents. We do not include restaurant or corporate names on the shipping address. Please inform us if your purchase is for commercial or resale purposes.
